Alexandra received her Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from Advent Health University, her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from South University, and an Associate Degree in General Studies from Valencia College. She also received her Masters Degree in Nursing from South University with a focus on Nurse Administration.

She has been a Registered Nurse (RN) since 2013 and has worked extensively in acute care settings as a floor nurse on units such as Med-Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care, and Clinical Decision in both level 1 and 2 regionally accredited hospitals. She also has experience as a home health nurse and travel nurse. Throughout her nursing career, Alexandra has precepted and trained countless graduate nurses and helped them to transition into their careers as competent and confident nurses.

In 2018 Alexandra started tutoring nursing graduates to help them prepare and review for their NCLEX exams with the hope of making a positive difference in their lives.  When she founded Excel Healthcare Institute in 2020, it was with the hope that she could help people of many backgrounds and walks of life to fulfill their dream of becoming a nurse.
